As a staple in South Florida’s nightlife, DJ Skinny has been a notorious venue maestro for the past decade. Beginning his musical career as a songwriter, he quickly progressed to a performing artist and soon learned the art of professional choreography; with his aptitude for music, adding DJ and Producer to his skill set was a natural evolution. Hailing from Kingston, Jamaica, Skinny has been enveloped in the rich musical influences of the Caribbean, Europe and the US.

He was able to solidify his career with the inception of his company Skinny Man Entertainment, which focused on the booking of himself as well as other iconic DJs. The brand grew exceptionally from the start and continues to create its own space in a saturated market as a production company offering equipment rentals, MCs, Drummers and even Singers to enhance any event. The company touts corporate clients such as the Miami Beach Bowl (A football league recently acquired by sports network ESPN) which held DJ Skinny as the official DJ, Hard Rock Hotels South America, and most recently Burger Fi International, where again DJ Skinny has become the official DJ for the brand.

Skinny has blessed crowds in the tens of thousands at epic concerts like Calle Ocho, the legendary annual festival held in the heart of Miami, FL and has entertained intimate settings such as the wedding of worldwide hit "Turn Me On" Singer Kevin Lyttle. His talent has even landed him residencies at historical landmarks such as the Eden Roc in Miami Beach. Recognized as a formidable DJ he has toured across the United States and over international waters to illustrious destinations like Hawaii, Mexico and of course Jamaica, just to name a few.

In addition to his regular schedule, DJ Skinny currently holds residencies weekly at Tarpon Bend (Coral Gables) and The Office (Delray), yet still makes time to consult (Audio/Visual) and produce. He is also sponsored/endorsed by brands such as Gibson Pro Audio, DAS Audio, and BurgerFi and Light Up the Night to name a few. Working with legends like Rob Base and Lisa Lisa, to international platinum stars like Mr. Vegas is a typical thing with this party rocker as he continues to orchestrate party goers across the country.

Creating a flawless Chill House anthem is no easy feat, but South Florida DJ Skinny Greg seems to have it down to a fine art going by his upcoming release “Machine Love”. By squeezing euphoria out of the delicately intricate progressions in Machine Love, the artist who is quickly becoming renown for his vibrant beats was able to channel plenty of emotion into his instrumental soundscape. When you come across any House anthem which is as suited to your playlists as it is to light up a dance floor, you know you’ve just come across a testament to talent. Given that he hailed from the land of infectious rhythm; Kingston, Jamaica before experiencing Europe and America no doubt this will have had a massive impact on his production style.

MUSIC SKINNY GREG – STUCK ON YOU: LOOKING FOR A FIX OF FUTURE POP? Posted on 4th August 2018 Stuck on You is the latest Future Pop hit from the up and coming Electronica artist and producer Skinny Greg. Whilst there have been many tracks composed based around being Stuck on You, Skinny Greg was able to breath prodigal new life into the agonising concept. With his iridescently bright melodies he constructs a mix which carries as much emotion as the lyrics. Whilst the effects on the vocals could be seen as a little excessive Stuck on You is still one of the most solid offerings of Future Pop I’ve heard this year. The way the track fluidly progresses through the hooks and drops is almost enough to leave the hair on the back of your neck standing to attention. Melancholy was rife when it came to the lyrics, yet, the beat provided an up-beat anthemic, digitally rendered hype that is impossible not to get caught up in. You can check out Skinny Greg’s latest single Stuck on You for yourselves by heading over to SoundCloud now. Any fans of Avicii, Tame Impala, and David Guetta are going to want to check out the beats from the emerging artist before they become a staple in dancefloor DJ’s playlists.
