Written in 2010, it's always difficult to write about love because before you even write a single letter it's all been done before and heavily cliched. It's really an affirmation song, pastoral type setting (with some Jeff Buckley, Bruce Springsteen inspiration). The interlude turned out very Ed Sheeran-ish in it's harmonies. I recorded the vocals & guitar live but as I started recording I began in B and quickly shifted it to Bb - the actual key - turned out to be the best take so I kept it mistakes and all!

I'm at the 2005 Green Day American Idiot Melbourne tour - this girl proudly walks by in a tartan skirt with swastika labels pinned on - besides totally misinterpreting American Idiot -(that is really up there with The Wall and Tommy) I thought "well shit, evil is the new good I guess." So it began. After many rewrites with such a broad topic I settled on these situations: cyberbullying, Ferguson, religious extremism, king hits & mass shootings. Ambitious much??? 🤔 I love the way it turned out, heavy stuff, heavy riff 🤘

Electronica instrumental track featuring bass in the vein of Grand Theft Auto music, perfect for the 6th installation of the game, a night mission. This song is also in the soundtrack genre so it feels like you're in an urban movie, set in somewhere like Detroit, New York or Tokyo. Sweeping synth soundscapes with evocative beats create a night time feel in the city with some sort of struggle, could be a mission or a fight or an action scene.

Sarcastic look at male sexual predators abusing their multi-millionaire power, the female character finally has enough and beats him up. It's quick, simple, funny, sad, aggressive and cool! Verse 1 is from the male perspective, like an animal licking his lips as she passes by. Verse 2 is the female trying to make her way in the job she's in and finally has enough of being abused. She punches him in the guts and kicks him in the nuts until he almost dies! That'll teach em!
