Giampaolo Scatozza is perhaps more known as a session drummer than a compo- ser.

His musical background ranges from electronic music, to jazz, pop, and ethnic music.

Giampaolo has collaborated in his career with icons of London pop music such as Paul Young, Tom Jones, Curiosity Killed the Cat, Groove Armada, Spice Girl Emma Bunton, Mark Knopfler but also in the jazz world has shared important stages with Trevor Watts, Evan Parker, Gilad Atzmon, Michael Olatuja, Kellylee Evans, Four80East, Sundar Viswanathan, John Medeski, Joe Sample.

As an electronic music producer he writes the music for Holby City on the BBC, publishes 4 albums with the UK label Rhythm & Muse (EMI) and composes jin- gles for Hyundai, Coca Cola, FBT, Saiwa and many others.
