Hello and welcome to my lesson series #3 where we will talk about, and learn some common strumming patterns. Strum patterns make the music come alive and you do them by moving your arm... lol It's as easy as that, but ya need some structure. We will look at 3 patterns starting with Rock, moving on to Pop and finishing with some Folk/Indie,,, I don't know what to call it, but you will feel it :D Cheers for listening and look out for #4. It is not often the lead guitarist of Motorhead moves in next door to ya!! I was pretty young at the time but we had many years of passing hangouts, games of darts, spliffs, jams and chats about life. The memories are stained and I raise my glass to you Eddie me old mucker. Rest in peace brother x

Lazy Boy tells the tale of a teenager playing his X box all the bloody time. The verse is him chillin and on the chorus his mam busts down the door and starts yelling and kicking up stink. The middle 8 is when he rises up and goes bananas back. The last verse is him playing xbox with his slippers on with mam feeding him grapes from above.. ha Enjoy.

Welcome to my Antique Series again :) Anyone been to Indonesia? Well if you have spent the night partying in Kuta, you would have come across some local grog they call Jungle Juice. basically a lethal concoction of bladdy everything.. topped off with a little squidge of shitty orange juice.. It will definitely make your tongue dance and eyeballs twist. I remember writing and recording this some years after the Bali bombing.. Such a tragic time, geez! Peace and Love.

You're not sure which one to take when you notice the trees swaying on one of the trails,, so you take that one. You finally make it out to the end, and are faced with a lush green field full of magic mushrooms and nuggets as big as Coke bottles.. Yeew That's what i feel anyway..lol How about you? The Morning After is a tune which was written at 7am after being out all night taking happy pills.. It tells the tale of walking home in the eery quietness of the morning after the nightclub. Catching glimpses of the suns rays in between the cracks of the houses and streets. Finally making it to the comforting sight of the big front door to your home. Of course the day was spent in bed with a few munchies and cheeches... You know how it goes 🙂 Peace I would love to play this live onstage in Ibiza, @3am, chill every body down for a bit and slowly bring them back up into it.. Everybody off their heads having a good time 🙂 That could happen 🙂

No smiles on this one.. Welcome home is a tale of sadness or elating happiness. Cast back a memory to a fond moment Or bow your head in thoughts for a lost one. You decide :) (Excuse the intonation on the high chords at the beginning, me guitar is shite :) Good enough for a film soundtrack I reckon? Just imagine an Orchestra behind it! Does Hans Zimmerman have a Musicoin account?? Peace.

Being an 80's child, classic rock was always a favorite of mine. With guitar heroes such as Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and a whole host of others, this tune was written one evening after a great day of surfing, smoking cheeches and hanging out with friends. Turn it up, Kick back, and reserve a space for your foot so you can tap it or stomp it :) Standard tuning, Electric Guitar. Tips and comments welcome :) Cheers.

Seagull Attack is an epic tale about a bastard Seagull. The track is in C minor tuning and was written one evening after spending the day in the sunny bay of St Ives in Cornwall. A beautiful town located on the south western coast of the UK where the tourists fall victim to a snatched pasty or ice cream on a daily basis. I had a rough story line in my head before I started writing the music but I guess the moral of the story is.. Thou Shalt Not Steal. I made a picture video to go along with. Check it out. Hope ya feel it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XL4yCT9dn4w Peace.

Before I left the UK in 2016 to find dreams... lol, I recorded an original 6 track EP at a professional studio, and had them recorded for free on borrowed time. As you musicians know it is nice to be at peace when you are recording. Although I was happy to get to record my tunes, I was very uncomfortable to play in front of people.. and I had a familiar feeling come upon me. The same feeling when your partner walks into the toilet when you are taking a crap, and strikes up a conversation... An uncomfortable feeling at that. lol So personally I am stoked with the sound quality but not my performances on the tracks. One day this tune shall rock the world with flawless victories and a full Jeff band :) Dreamcatcher has no specific story but it gives the feeling when love dies and you look back on it. Hope ya feel it. Cheers.

Welcome to my 'Antique Series' where you will find old jams and jems recorded and stored on my retro Boss RC2 Loopstation. Not having many musical friends throughout my time growing up, the trusty ol looper became a close acquaintance and helped me learn the secrets to becoming a 'Free" player. That just means you can play whatever you can sing, hear and feel. Combine all of those ingredients and you have a splendid tasting soup. So here is a little tune I composed titled 'Shifting Gears' It tells the tale of a nice Sunday drive.. Birds are singing and the sun is out, wanking its rays all over your face. Your having a great time until some old twat pulls into your lane, slows ya down and ruins your vibe.. You swiftly shift into 6th and floor it, leaving his ass in a trail of smoke behind ya... ha Hope ya feel it. Oh and the filthy bike you see before you is my trusty Honda Win. I have a go fund me page to get her back up to good health. So all tips appreciated and you can donate below if you want to see this beast get back up to scratch and support me :) https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/jeffsbike Cheers.

Remeber finding your old school books upstairs in the loft? Laughing at all the stories and pictures you used to draw... Well this is exactly that but in a musical sense. Here is an old idea I luckily jotted down and am stoked at the potential of this tune. I remember writing it with a creepy atmosphere in mind and the story I believe was something to do with a dark corridor with flickering lights. The chorus was when you opened the final door at the end of the corridor, to be welcomed by all of your mates :) I think I wrote it around the Silent Hill computer game era.. Hope ya feel it. Cheers.

Sweet Little Thing was written whilst passing time waiting for waves on the Sumatran beaches of Indonesia. Written in the key of C, it gives the feeling of uplifting thoughts and temptation to go and do the things you love :) It requires slight 'beast mode' to play and keep up with the picking. Would love to see someone try it :) Tabs available online https://d.facebook.com/jefguitar/?__tn__=%2AsH-R Video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6aRvCgCAhI Cheers
