Those Left Behind... it is the name of the charity that asked me to write a song that they could use. The charity is something close to me as the director is the mother of a close friend of mine, further more last year, my friend's step father took his own life. to follow Those Left Behind head to their facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/thoseleftbehindcause/

On this, the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month, the guns went silent in Europe. Rising Sons is an album in honour of one of the conflicts within that terrible loss of life and it opens with this track. A guitar version of The Last Post. Remembering those that fought and died, those that returned and fought mentally, those that were forgotten by the people they fought to protect, and those currently in service to their countries for the prospect of a better, safer world. This Armistice day, Remembrance Day, Veterans Day, whatever you call it, we say thank you. Lest We Forget.

New song up! well this is an older track from my debut album Rising Sons. You Pommy Bastards was written after reading through letters from a WW1 ANZAC soldier home. He was incredibly positive through out the whole experience, detailing how beautiful the sunrise was over the med etc. however there was one point of emotion where the ANZACs made a press so that the British could take Suvla, however, the British stayed on the beach and didn't attack, wasting the lives of the distraction force. The bitterness and frustration felt is channeled through this piece, in a more typically British style of angry punk music. I really enjoyed writing this piece, it came so quickly after reading Archie's letters and the empathetic anger I felt for his pain just flowed onto page and into song. enjoy!

New song up! This is one of my favourite newer tracks. Written with Dave and Emma this song has traveled many thousands of kilometers to get to where it is now. Light Up My Life is really upbeat and driving. If you like it please let us know!

New song up! No One Like Me. I got a little angst going in that one, it was fun and managed to write, record, and complete in under 24 hours.

Piano, cello, ballard, Pop
Originally composed for the charity, Those Left Behind, supporting Police members suffering PTSD, and assisting in suicide prevention, as well as supporting the families left behind after a member has taken their life. It is a piano based ballard under sad and confused lyrics, setting the tone of confusion and despair for those left behind. If you're experiencing depression, speak to someone, friends, family, counselors, organisations like beyond blue or the suicide hotline. suicide doesn't cure the pain, it just passes it on to someone else.

A scifi feeling short piece designed to suit trailers. It starts soft and pleasant with a slightly ominous undertone, it builds and builds until it breaks.

Ballard, Piano
From the debut album, Rising Sons, Burning is the story of those underage fighting in the trenches of Gallipoli. He was 17, he was dying in no mans land with a bullet in his gut, crying out for his mother. The song is terribly moving with a raw piano and vocals blending nicely to unleash the despair and helplessness felt.

Rock, Pop
From the debut album, Rising Sons, We Were Young is the journey of young men in Australia in 1914 at the outbreak of world war 1. with a sense of adventure and excitement they sign up and go to war, only to find out how hellish it really is. We Were Young has an upbeat tempo that gets the foot tapping right up until a dark twist through the song when reality sets in.

A mournful piano piece reflecting on the Battle of Long Tan in Vietnam between heavily outnumbered ANZAC forces and the NVA. The piece is very touching.

Rock, Pop, 80s, 90s
Here We Go is a driving pop rock track, which blends 80's flair and 90's grit into a thoroughly modern sound. On your first listen you will get an initial tap to the guts, a short recovery period, a little taste of the chorus and then the full punch. Repeated listens will have you singing along, tapping your foot and punching the air.
