JaoPayu is originally from the UK but now resides in the deep South Of Thailand where he runs a local studio for himself and also up and coming Thai folk and dub artists.
Previously known as Drumstorm the name Jaopayu came about after Thai friends translated the name into something they can say, and means King Of Storms, the name stuck.
Today JaoPrayu works on a number of different projects with artists around the world but Being from the UK his appetite for Jungle / Drum & Bass still burns.
