With her beautiful, warm voice with a spicey touch she brings the true core of soul of music to you. Born in ’77 as a child of a musician she grey up with soul, blues and rock music. When she could barely speak she already sang along with Aretha Franklin, Betty White, Etta James and Doris Duke. Yaide also loved to listen to blues of Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Created and inspired by her musical heroes she started performing at the very young age of 14 years old. First solo and later on as a lead singer of several professional coverbands, varying from soul/funk ensembles and pop music and good old fashioned disco. By her broad experience and diversity Yaide developed herself into an amazing and inspiring performer.
After 20 years of experience on international stages and as a Studio performer Yaide finally decided to release her own music to tell her own story. Yaide explained: “After a live of performing and singing of fantastic music, I felt it was time to tell and express my soul. For me the ideal way to express my feelings and my love for the soul and blues music of the ’60's and ‘70's. My album is a collection of experiences and flashbacks of my personal life; Beautiful stories, happy stories, sad experiences, the blues-and soul influences from my youth which reflect in the music. It has been a soul journey through the music I experienced and inspired me all my life. The first album consists of 6 songs co-produced with Sound Vision Studio. The album was released in September 2015 and has been written in close cooperation with my dear friend George Konings of Sound Vision Studio. Time is my tribute single.
