Hi Stevee, I am not sure what being nominated for Artist of the Week really means. Is there a description somewhere or a unique link? Sounds good though -- thank you!

i know man, and for some reason reading your words, it like it still hurts. i did a "what star do you look like" game on FaceBook a while back, and it was like: "you're Kurt Cobain," which honestly was like walking into a wall. Still, i think Kurt's soul would want us to enjoy our time here on earth.

thank you very much. i just pressed "distribute" on one of my songs regarding musicoins, but i honestly don't know what that means at this time. yes, feel free to look me up: www.dainiswmichel.com, there is a chat tool there and you can let me know how to join the "Telegram" group -- i think i have that on my phone, but i hardly use it. I'd enjoy learning more about musicoin and how it works...

ok, though i manage the rights, there is some additional distribution w this tune. it's all worked out, signed off, etc. is there a way for me to automatically parse out credit for plays of this song?

a song that stemmed from anger at Kurt Cobain for possibly killing himself. he was sooooo cool. and then what? to off himself before it's time? to be unable to scream or cry? but this song came to me basically instantly and has presented itself as: Kurt Cobain's soul knocking on the door of my consciousness - to say what? he didn't commit suicide? OR -- basically a message to tell everyone: just creep on. don't pull the trigger. it's better to stay around than to take your own life. it has taken me many years to "kind of" release this song. i got a 250K record deal as a result of the song that i declined. a label exec wrote me the nastiest letter accusing me of blatantly attempting to capitalize off of Kurt Cobain's death... uhh...but i was just angry. angry that someone so cool, so vibrant, so successful -- could take his own life. i was shocked. how does that work? how does someone who has achieved pretty much the pinnacle of what i could have wanted to achieve -- and fall into such deep misery? i felt violated and angry and sad and i just wanted him to be alive and i wanted to tell myself and others to always always: creep on. to NOT pull the trigger. i wanted Kurt Cobain to still be alive, and i was in a meditative state -- and was it his soul? now, since over 2 decades have passed -- well -- it's almost like a tradition. someone important to me passes - and basically makes a few last request, sends some phrases - sometimes in song form. so, a part of me thinks it's Kurt saying: i did not kill myself. another part of me thinks they were so messed up that no one really knows. the message of this song is: even if you've let it go that far and beyond, just creep on. go to sleep. don't take that mouthful of pills don't pull the trigger don't jump. just creep on. if not for you then for the rest of us. if for no one else, then for you. it might not feel like you're loved right now, and you might not have much to look forward to for the foreseeable future. but so what? just creep on. it can get better. people who do suicide research say that you just need to get over this hump and then life can continue normally. so why not do that instead of risking the "great unknown?" that is what this song is about. it is a cry, to you and to anyone in trouble -- to anyone in danger of committing suicide -- to please please please -- just creep on. just make it through today. then tomorrow. it can get better. get help. make that call. reach out. just please please please...creep on...ok? please
