Friedrich Wilhelm Zachow, Erbarm dich mein, o Herre Gott The end of another series is near. Zachow's preludes to "Erbarm dich mein, o Herre Gott" is the last of the Neumeister-choräle-not-by-Johann_Sebastian-Bach left for me to publish. Written in the style antico, it show Zachow's mastery of contrapuntal writing. It's a beautiful piece, as usual with a lot of transcriptional error's on Neumeister's behalf. So it's a fitting end to the series. Next step is to combine them all into one Edition. The recording was done with the Hauptwerk software and the sample set of the Silbermann organ of the Stadtkirche Zöblitz by Prospectum (http://www.prospectum.com/index.php?language=english&id1=2&id2=8).
