Dietrich Buxtehude, Vater unser im Himmelreich, BuxWV 219 This chorale prelude is one of Buxtehude's most-played chorale-based organ works. It is in Buxtehude's typical style in which the chorale melody appears elegantly ornamented in the soprano voice, accompanied by three other voices on a separate manual and the pedal. The material of the accompaniment is for a large part based on the chorale melody as well. The recording was done with the Hauptwerk software and the sample set of the Silbermann organ of the Stadtkirche Zöblitz by Prospectum (http://www.prospectum.com/index.php?language=english&id1=2&id2=8).
