The Invisible Girl She's the invisible girl Looking out her window at a lonely world And the people she sees If only they could notice her they'd look like me People pass her by Never looking her way When I look in her eyes I struggle for something to say But she doesn't know how to see me So she stands by a wall Still as stone she hopes that they'll see nothing at all And she's holding her breath Waiting for the world to pass it scares her to death People pass her by Never looking her way When I look in her eyes I struggle for something to say But she doesn't know how to see me She must have stumbled on a secret superpower To get to travel invisibly I guess I'll have to be some kind of superhero Just to get her to notice me I wonder if she can see Her reflection in the mirror's just a transparency And if she'd challenge the lies The world would light up only from her beautiful eyes People pass her by Never looking her way When I look in her eyes I struggle for something to say But she doesn't know how to see me She doesn't know how to see me She doesn't know how to see me
