This is a rap/singing type beat. You can do either or. I left the hook 8 bars for that specific purpose. My arrangements are different sometimes, i like to challenge the artist to think out the box sometimes. On the hook part of this beat which is also the intro, i filter out all the highs and make it real spacey, knowing something is about to happen. I don’t make a big hype up, but that part is there for a vocalist or a singer. Then when the verse comes in thats when you’ll hear the strings. The strings give it that big sound. I added some vocals to throw something different in there and it not be so repetitive. Crazy 808s and Strings always give that big sound. As far as direction its really up to the artist on this one. He can take it any direction he wants to.
