I was given the screenplay to the major MGM release 'Autumn in New York' starring Richard Gere and Winona Ryder one year prior to the release date. I worked extremely hard getting the lyrics and feel for this movie. It went all the way to the top and everyone loved it and signed off on the song. It was going to play during the final credit roll. Unfortunately at the last moment the director cut the song in favor of period music. I still think it's one of my best songs.
