Pray For Levi -- The Band Oslo Snowe The vintage rock sound of "Pray For Levi" is meant to capture the sounds of the 1970's. Lyrically it is the antithesis of anti Vietnam War protest songs that were popular in the mid 1960's and 1970's. With a sense of deep sorrow a Oslo Snowe band member composed it from the prospective of a grieving brother’s lingering anger over anti war protesters targeting those in the service (many of whom were draftees) during the Vietnam War. The anti protest verse, “Prayer for the boy, praise for the man. Johnny threw stones, than hid his hands”, calls out the ungrateful citizen protesters of that era.
